Object Storage¶

media.dvr.object_storage

This feature is available only in Flussonic Media Server. It has not yet been ported to Sapsan. The configuration below applies to Flussonic Media Server.

An archive can be recorded to object storage. In FMS, s3:// selects S3 over HTTP and s3s:// selects HTTPS. Specify the bucket and archive size limit.

The configuration dvr /storage copy=s3://USER:PASSWORD@HOST/BUCKET 10G; records locally first, then transfers data to storage every hour. After a stream migration, another server can continue recording to the same directory. Multiple servers must not record the same stream simultaneously.
