In the new release, we have updated the failover settings to minimize downtime in case of a streamer failure. Streams can now be published to Flussonic using protocols that previously required manual configuration. Additionally, we continue improving the layouter algorithms, and we will share more details in the next release.

Automatically publish streams via WHIP and RTSP

Central now supports load balancing for publishing streams over WHIP and RTSP protocols. Previously, publishing to a streamer required manually generating a URL and pushing the stream to it. Now, this process is fully automated through built-in load balancing.

Faster failover activation with a reduced timeout

We have optimized the failover settings to minimize recording losses and enhance system reliability. Now, in the event of a server failure, the system will switch to failover mode and redistribute streams to available streamers after 1 minute of downtime. Previously, this timeout was set to 3 minutes, which increased the risk of archive loss.
