The main news this month — we launched the cloud video surveillance service vsaas.io for individuals and small businesses, which allows organizing control and archive storage, as well as connecting new users for shared video surveillance. We are expanding the features of SmartCam and other Flussonic devices, and updating the Watcher interface for users. We’ll tell you all the details.

Join the new vsaas.io service for cloud video surveillance at home and in the office

We launched vsaas.io – a cloud video surveillance service that makes it easy to organize video surveillance at home, in the office, and in small retail outlets. It is based on reliable Flussonic solutions: firmware for Iris cameras and our proprietary software ensure stable operation, high video detail, and intelligent features.

All you need to do is purchase a Flussonic camera with vsaas.io connectivity, install it in the desired location, and use cloud video surveillance through the mobile app or personal account on the website. Download the vsaas.io app to discover all the features:

New features for Flussonic SmartCam: car make and model recognition

SmartCam is a Flussonic device that combines a camera and video analytics in one housing. It processes video on the fly and can transmit data about it — short events/episodes as text (JSON), without requiring complex installation or constant maintenance, as a video analytics server would.

SmartCam supports popular video analytics detectors: animal and person detection. This month, we added the ability to recognize car make and model to enhance security control capabilities.
