Plates¶

vision.detect.plates

License plate recognition processes camera video and creates events with the detected plate numbers. Events are available in Watcher and through an API for external systems.

The entire frame is searched by default. Detection can be restricted to convex, non-overlapping polygonal zones. Events can be filtered by camera, plate number, organization, and time. Selecting an event opens the corresponding camera recording.
