Monitoring with Prometheus

With Prometheus you can quicker and easier integrate Flussonic monitoring into your environment providing better management and control of your video streams.

Screenshot button with live playback

CCTV operators can take screenshots not only while viewing the recorded archive, but also while watching the live feed from the camera! This is a great solution for monitoring centers and instant real-time information sharing.

DVR Player localization

Now DVR Player supports multiple languages (English and Russian)! You will be able to localize DVR player or use several ready-made translations. This means that your viewers will be able to easily navigate the interface using their native language.

Wider audinece with a cluster for Streaming API

Increase the efficiency of your cluster with the latest update! Now servers do not need to perform full authorization between each other, only the necessary data is provided for cluster operation.

Fairplay encryption support

You can now use FairPlay encryption for HLS HEVC fMP4 streams, enabling secure VOD playback on Apple devices.

Bugs fixed:

Reading teletext from SDI cards pixel=10 value for reading teletext from SDI cards became default.

WebRTC publishing The optimized WebRTC publishing procedure now eliminates the possibility of handshake_timeout during the DTLS handshake process. This is an important improvement that avoids problems with publishing video over WebRTC.

HLS ingest
With SCTE markers in an input stream HLS ingest does not interrupt anymore.

SDI input
To keep broadcasting SDI channels and then return to live as expected, an issue with SDI input not switching back after a failure (with a backup input engaged) was fixed.

VOD files via DASH
VOD files are played via DASH as expected with certain combinations of parameters in the source file.

Receiving publications from Cisco CMS
There is no more long zap time when receiving publications from Cisco CMS via RTMP.

WebRTC Player
To make it clear to customers how to enable and disable screen casting, the readme was updated with the corresponding information.

Flussonic Coder
Flussonic Coder can now be updated as expected through the Chassis tab in the UI.

DVR Player
To avoid traffic overrun with NVR, when a tab with Player remains inactive for 30 sec, the playback stops until it is manually restarted.

SRT ingest
SRT ingest does not fail anymore when a providerparameter is added in the stream config.

“Restart” button
The “Restart” button is displayed correctly after an update.

Output bitrate
To let customers know that the content is provided to end users and avoid any affect on the load balancing, output bitrate is displayed in the “OUT:” field.

RTSP on Spinetix
Flussonic Media Server receives broadcasting from an internal network and send it via RTSP to Spinetics with the SR being correctly sent for audio tracks so that the sound is not missing.

Episodes Episode markers are displayed correctly on the timeline in the Player in the Watcher Client UI (PWA).

DVR cleaning in Amazon S3 cloud storage To reduce the number of requests and delete archives in batcher, the DVR cleaning for Amazon S3 cloud storage was improved.
