The new version of Flussonic Central enables seamless infrastructure scaling with Kubernetes and maximizes information accessibility for productive operations. Additionally, in this release, we have optimized the database to save storage space and introduced new video analytics capabilities. Here’s a closer look at the updates that will enhance system performance and delight your clients.
Central Kubernetes Operator Update for Stable Scaling
With the new Kubernetes Operator, you can now run multiple instances of Flussonic Central with improved load balancing, making the system more flexible under high-load conditions. We have also removed automatic database migrations upon Central startup — migrations can now be initiated separately, simplifying database updates and management. The enhanced long-polling mechanism now supports simultaneous operation of multiple instances, improving system stability and responsiveness.
Set up barrier control based on vehicle movement directions
Flussonic Central now recognizes the direction of vehicle movement. New analytics fields, vehicle_facing_side and vehicle_emergency_subtype, help determine if a vehicle is approaching or leaving the gate and automatically allow access for emergency vehicles. This feature enables more precise access control, enhancing security and reducing the need for manual intervention.
We’ve added CentralTimestamp UtsMs and InferenceTimestamp UtsMs tags to the API, showing the exact moment an episode appears on the server. Now, if you experience data delivery delays, you can accurately track down the source of the issue and resolve it faster, maintaining system stability. Use the ‘episode_get’ operation.
Fast Layout Change Preview
You can now quickly preview how label changes will affect the layout of a stream or streamer using methods for streams and streamers. This feature simplifies display setup and saves you time, as you can instantly see all future layout changes on-screen and make adjustments efficiently.
Database Optimization for Space Efficiency
The Flussonic Central database now operates more efficiently, as it no longer stores unnecessary data when title and input_media_info.title fields are modified. This optimization conserves disk space and maintains high system performance.
