Flussonic, a leader in streaming services globally, announced today its strategic alliance with the Brazilian company SATLABS which will be in charge of reselling Flussonic products in Brazil and the rest of Latin America.
SATLABS works hand in hand with SATTV, a pay TV operator with more than 25 years of existence in the Brazilian market, and its clients are Internet Service Providers (ISP) who want to sell TV content talong with their other products. These ISPs use Flussonic Media Server to connect to the SATTV content and make it available to their subscribers.
“We have known Flussonic for some time and its ease of use, value, global reach, reliability, and enormous potential led us to seek the partnership. We have big plans to expand the features, including VOD and extra-TV content that our customers want to distribute, such as online radio and their own content”.
William Knob, co-founder of SATLABS.
According to Knob, streaming content is increasingly in demand in Brazil and Latin America in general, but the support and implementation of these solutions is quite scarce in the region. “With this alliance with Flussonic, our goal is to change this situation and expand the Flussonic brand throughout Latin America and, consequently, take this technology even further," he adds.
