24.09 Watcher

In the latest Watcher update, several important improvements have been introduced. Watcher now processes labels to create, update, and issue streamers, offering more control over stream management. Admins can now manage archive download permissions in the sharing settings, giving more flexibility when sharing content. To help optimize storage, the system now supports automatic deletion of face events based on archive depth settings, reducing data usage and improving search efficiency.

New Features in Flussonic Watcher 24.09

  • Watcher now processes labels to create, update, and issue streamers.
  • You can now control permissions for downloading the archive when sharing. An option to allow or disallow archive downloads has been added to the sharing settings in the admin camera list.
  • QR detection has been implemented on cameras.
  • Users’ service provider contacts are now available in the client area interface.
  • The deletion of face events based on the set archive depth settings and event records has been added. This helps limit data, reducing the search sample and disk space usage.
  • The Agent is now supported in Ingenic T31 chipset cameras based on MIPS architecture.
  • A command to create a stream has been added: /opt/flussonic/contrib/watcher create_stream.
  • You can now use the filter by name and name_like in the API v3 Watcher users_list. This allows you to retrieve the ID in a single request, using the login, if you need to revoke camera access for users.
  • Docker images can now be launched within the firmware of Flussonic appliances, such as running Watcher VMS with video analytics on Coder. Try the release and rolling versions available on Docker Hub flussonic/watcher.
  • PTZ control has been added for the JVS-H950e camera, and Iris firmware is now available for it as well.
