Currently, only administrators can share camera feeds, but we plan to expand this feature soon.
Setting up a live stream is simple! When you create a stream on your chosen social media platform, it will generate a unique stream URL along with a key or name. For instance, on YouTube, it will look something like this:
To integrate this into Watcher, follow these easy steps:
- Access the Admin Panel: Navigate to the admin panel and select “Cameras” from the menu.
- Choose Your Camera: From the list of available cameras, select the one you wish to stream.
- Add a New Stream: Go to the “Pushes” tab and click the “+” icon to create a new outgoing stream.
- Insert Your Stream Details: In the URL field, enter the stream URL followed by your key to form a complete link.
Once you’ve saved your settings, you’re all set to start streaming!
How to Get an Embed Link for Your Website
Want to embed your live stream directly on your website? You can do that too! Here’s how:

Go to the Admin Panel: Again, select “Cameras” from the menu.
-
Select Your Camera: Click on the camera you want to stream, then head to the “Shares” tab.

-
Copy Your Embed Link: You have several options:
- Player Live: For live video that opens in a browser.
- Player DVR: For live video with archive viewing capabilities.
