Multi-Bitrate from Two Sources

There are situations when you already have two independent streams of the same content in several qualities (SD and HD). Flussonic Media Server can merge them into a single multi-bitrate stream. This is done by using the mbr=1 option.

Important! Sources should be synchronized with each other, otherwise, you will get audio/video desync in an output stream. If it is possible to abandon the two sources and use the built-in Flussonic transcoder – you'd better use it.


Below is the example of using mbr=1 option:
